Five days of pure adventure compressed into Jordan’s most spectacular landscapes. You’ll rappel down narrow canyon walls where flash floods carved impossible passages through stone, hike ancient Nabataean routes to Petra’s hidden backdoor, summit Jordan’s highest bridge for views that span deserts and mountains, then trade hiking boots for fins to explore the Red Sea’s underwater universe. This is Jordan at its most diverse and thrilling — equal parts adrenaline and awe, with Bedouin hospitality and campfire dinners under stars so bright they cast shadows. No crowds, no tourist buses, just you and landscapes that make you understand why people called this place the crossroads of civilization.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1

Your adventure starts early with the drive from Amman toward Wadi Hora, desert landscape unfolding outside your window as cities fade into rock and sand. Take a 30-minute hike into Wadi Hora, where narrow canyon walls rise up to 20 meters high on both sides, channeling you through passages carved by ancient floods. The canyoning here is exhilarating, from rappelling down rock faces smoothed by water, to navigating narrow slots where you can touch both walls at once, to feeling very small and very alive in passages that have taken millennia to form. After the experience, head to your camp near Little Petra for dinner cooked over open flames and a night under stars that make city lights seem like a sad joke. Optional abseiling for those who want to push their comfort zone even further.

Day 2

Start the day at Little Petra, entering through “The Back Door” to follow an ancient Nabataean route most tourists will never see. This 15-kilometer trail winds around mountains where every turn reveals new vistas, including the Treasury appearing suddenly through canyon walls, the Monastery perched impossibly high, and ancient steps carved into living rock leading to places that make you question how humans built anything this magnificent. Visit the Siq, the Treasury, and your feet will carry you through history carved in rose-colored stone. Later, transfer to Wadi Rum and settle into your Bedouin camp for the evening. Enjoy a traditional dinner beneath the star-filled desert sky.

Day 3

Wake to the desert coming alive with morning light painting dunes gold and pink. After breakfast, embark on a 4×4 journey to the base of Jabal Burda, Jordan’s highest natural bridge. The hike takes approximately four hours, switchbacking up slopes where each step reveals more of Wadi Rum’s spectacular landscape below. At the summit, enjoy lunch amid captivating desert views that stretch to the horizon, full of red sand, black rock, and blue sky meeting in perfect contrast. The descent allows you to really absorb where you are… alone on a mountain in one of Earth’s most dramatic deserts.

Day 4

After breakfast, head to Aqaba where the desert surrenders to the sea. Explore the town’s vibrant streets before your 4-hour boat tour, immersing yourself in the colorful marine world of the Red Sea. Gear up for snorkeling and discover underwater gardens where coral explodes in electric colors, fish school in silver clouds, and sea turtles glide past you. The water is warm, clear, and visibility extends for what feels like forever. Enjoy lunch onboard as the day winds down, then continue to the tranquil Dead Sea, where you will unwind and rejuvenate in mineral-rich waters, floating effortlessly while mountains of Jordan and Israel frame both horizons.

Day 5

Start your morning with a refreshing breakfast basking in the rejuvenating aura of the Dead Sea, taking one last float in waters that make you feel weightless in every sense. Next, you venture toward Amman where a tantalizing local lunch awaits, authentic flavors that taste like Jordan distilled into food. Four hours of driving through landscapes that shift from below sea level to mountain plateaus, with authentic flavors lingering on your tongue and memories already starting to feel like the best kind of dream… except you’re actually living it.
